Rocketship Sí Se Puede Academy’s after school Scratch club teaches 4th graders computer programming using M.I.T’s Scratch programming language.

It teaches students

• to think creatively and
• solve problems using programming.

Scratch Class description

Students will learn the elements of computer programming (iterations, conditionals, variables, messaging) and will create their own animations and games using Scratch.

Instead of just being consumers of digital media, students will learn to be creators of original digital media.

Scratch club times: Tuesdays 4.15 to 5.00pm
